BRS doser dumb question

Hi,

I just got a new BRS 1.1 doser. It comes with two different tubes. One is the clear silicone I expected. The other is firmer translucent white plastic. Does it matter which I use?

You should have a piece that is 17 inches long..

I dont have that doesr but i personally like silicone tubing for my dosers. I would use the 17 inch tubing.

78" weird. BRS website says there is a 17 inch dosing tube. Silicone one is more likely for the doser. Dosing supplements would be the harder one.

No. My dosing tube is like 3 to 4 ft long.

Maybe I’ll just email BRS. Saw them at Reefapalooza today, but this arrived literally while I was there. If it came Friday I could have asked in person!

Yes. If you want to use the tubing they gave then you should just emailed them.

Ok. Now i inderstamd better. I you can use either one. I personally like the silicone tubing. I tried that hard clear plastic, i dont like the hard clear plastic..

Neither of those look like silicon tubing. One is RO tubing the other is soft vinyl tubing.

The clear soft vinyl is going to be easier to work with but will kink easier around corners.

Yes, vinyl. I don’t know why I said silicone. Long day. That might have saved some back-and-forth.
