This will be the first alkalinity adjustment being made to my tank that was started up 5 months ago. I am torn between BRS vs ESV 2-part. These are the only two I am really deciding between. I am def not willing to to really do any DIY additives at this moment. I know that ESV is harder to get and people praise it, but I also hear some good things about BRS.

Let me know what you guys think.

BRS is selling a version of my DIY. IT's primary advantage over ESV B-ionic is cost.

The advantage of ESV over my DIY is that it provided many more elements at appropriate ratios. Elements like potassium.

If cost is a primary concern, use my DIY, which can be obtained from BRS or other suppliers.

If using the most complete option if the highest priority, use the ESV-B-ionic.

Another good option is to use Tropic Marin part C instead of my Part 3, but still use the alk and calcium of the DIY. It's a better option than my DIY part 3 (i.e., BRS).
