Does anyone have measurements for gallon increments in a 44 gal or 55 gal brute can? I don’t really need to know every single gallon but it would be nice to be able to measure say 12” and know that’s my 10 gallon mark or whatever. I figured I’d ask before I start adding a gallon at a time and lose count 37 gallons in

There's some websites I found through Google that got close. I ended up just using a 5 gallon bucket to get my baseline. In 1 1/2 hours I get about 4 gallons from my rodi so when filling the brute I just figure that measurement in. Not exact but when doing water changes I know how high to fill my bucket and how many times.

@Bam327 i did the same as @Jekyl I filled the Brute up in 5G increments. I’d offer my measurements but I have a 32

what do you all use to mark the increments? inside or outside? mines a grey brute, which is not transparent enuogh to see the water line.

not sure if there's special ink or marker that is reef safe

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
