Just sharing a pic of my BTA after splitting hope you guys like. Let me know what you think

Yeah first time I've ever had a NEM split, not sure if I want them to split again they are kinda big and take up alot of space.

Pretty much even one is 6 inches across the other is about 8 inches across

Cool, mine split a month or so ago, but one was much smaller than the other.

What kind of NEM do you have ? Feed the smaller one if you want it to grow faster

I have a RBTA. I'm not sure I want it to grow faster, they already take up a whole island. I do wish I knew why some people's bubble. My original one bubbled the first week I had it and now it just has long tentacle.

No one knows why. Mine bubble on and off. One will be bubbled and one right next to it will be long tentacle. The next day they change.

No one knows why they dont keep their bubble tips, maybe its as captivity issue, I've been lucky that they kept the bubbles

I know, I've read a whole bunch on flow vs light vs nutrients, however, at the end of the day it seems to be a mystery. Here was mine when I first put it in the tank and today.

I've not fed mine directly since I got them. Bought 4 two and a half years ago and now have 8, so doesn't seem to have slowed them down much. Also, mine have bubbled on and off but a recent large water change has them all bubbling.

I don't recommend directly feeding but if you feed them that way they split much faster.

How long did it take to go from one to ever how many you have now? Was that with feeding ?

Bought a small one about 2 years ago for $30 . I never direct feed just the tank. If i did direct feed i'd have 3 times as many. I should sell HaHa. I wonder what rainbows are going for now?
