BTA and toad stool leather

My BTA has decided to attach itself to the stem of my toad stool leather. I have had my BTA for at least 4 mos. and has been attached to an area of live rock. No changes have been made in my tank and all parameters are fine. No change in lighting or flow. I guess my question is will this hurt my toad stool and should I move the BTA and if so how? Thanks as always.

The toad stool will probably be irratated. If the anemone doesn't move ,you will probably have to separate them. So the toad stool will make it out alive

It could go either way. I have had BTA brushing up against LPS without issue and the opposite is true as well.
I would be tempted to leave it unless the leather actually closes.
To remove the BTA just slowly tickle or tease the edge attached to the leather, go slow, the BTA will move eventually. You could also try pointing a power head in the BTA direction.

Good luck with this!!! Personally, I would try to move it. To get the BTA to move you could point the powerhead right at it, or put an ice cube made of RODI water in its foot. (Not %100 if this works but you can use it as a back up :p)

I think I will wait at least till this evening, it happened last night. Lol I was up at 2:00 AM checking on it to make sure it didn't end up somewhere really bad. Thanks, I will keep this thread posted.:)
