My BTA Anemone wont attach. Its been days since its attached. The anemones foot isnt sticky. I had the powerhead off for 5 days! The tank couldnt handle it (I saw some algae and the water got cloudy) so I put it in a net box and turned the powerhead on. In the morning I saw the clownfish hosting it in the net! Ive tried to place it on rocks around the entire aquarium but all it does is fall off in 10 minutes and land on the sand. What do I do? The anemone looks really good right now you wouldnt even be able to tell there was something wrong with it.

I would turn the powerhead back on. Make the tank like it always is.

A nem guard in the head is a must.

The nem is smart and will find a place depending on flow and light.
And maybe where it can see the tv.
Nems are weird.

That's all I would do my friend. It all it's all you can do.

When my nem (it's name is Weirdo) have split or begin to walk, I call this "nem watch". So I'm just aware I have to pay attention.

Right now I have 3 nems in a row. But aren't moving. Nem watch at yellow alert.

Nems usually walk when they don’t like the spot cuz of flow, lighting , some other weird reason. They may attach first day where u put them so they can protect their foot. Attach them somewhere and feed it something small .. that’s what I did and it stayed put... good luck and happy reefing
