I just added a bubble tip nem to my tank 4 days ago but I’ve noticed he get way smaller during the night just today he was fully opened and looked really good but during the night he closed and loses his bubbles is this normal?

Welcome to the reef ,yes it is normal to open and close especially at night... :)
