I have a question…..I’ve had these two BRA’s for well over a year now. We just moved them to a new tank 2.5x larger than the last 40g to 110g. They’re doing ok though they’ve been a little cranky because I don’t think this tank is as stable as the other one was even though I used live rock from the small tank to cycle it. Anyway I treated the tank with PraziPro because of white stringy poop from a difficult to catch fish and the nems were NOT happy! Turned on UV and started carbon on 3rd day and did a 30% water change. Since then I’ve noticed some odd behavior. First of all they’re not as full as they sued to be. They have great color but the tentacles are stringier. Sometimes they puff up nice. They spend a lot more time closed either fully or partially. The little one has been mostly closed all day though it has partially opened a few times. Another thing I’ve just noticed is that when I scrape the glass they puff up the center part and the tentacles look more like flower petals around the center of the flower. Then they fully or partially close. I have 2 clowns that spend most of their time in the big one but will go to the little one sometimes. I was just wondering if they’re doing that to feed? It’s weird because they never used to do that. I did recently add some additional T5 lighting so maybe that’s part of it? I have been feeding really heavy because I just got a new tang that’s underweight and fattening it up so they shouldn’t be “hungry” because the clowns feed the big one.
Parameters:
T 78.6
dKH - 8.8
PO4 - .07
NO3 - 7.4
pH - 8.3

The big one faces the back so can’t get really good pics of it
Sorry they’re under blue lights but they have great color so that’s not the issue. The first pic is today after I scraped the glass and it “bloated”, small one completely closed. The next several are recent and the last 3-4 are how they looked before the Prazi treatment

Change results in some level of instability in the waters as you point out and BTA is a big baby when in comes to water chemistry.
The new system needs to still mature upwards even when just transferring to a larger box.
Just keep everything as is (or as normal) for a couple of months.
