Now, this sounds weird and looks weird. I never seen my rainbow bubble tips foot. Its heavily speckled. I did have a green bta once. It just had a red foot.

For this one, it does not roam. Has been on that very rock for a month. That very shard. I had to remove him out of the aquarium with his rock to remove a eunice worm.

I chistled the bta off and placed it back into his original spot. This was probably 2 weeks ago.

Just recently the bta has been standing up and revealed his foot. I never seen this before.

Lighting? I dialed back my kessils and it caused my nems to reach more than they used to. Maybe just adjusted to your lighting and wants more?

I suspect that it'll move soon. They typically don't like to have their foot exposed like that, but rather buried in a crevice. That said, many BTAs have a "mind" of their own and oftentimes do strange things.

Also, a marbled foot on a rainbow is fairly common, and nothing to worry about (not that you were worried!).

Ty for the response. I've had this bta for a month in a half+. Fortunately, hasn't roamed 1 inch off of that rock. I'm not kidding, stayed put even after I had to chistle him off.

Just worried actually seeing the foot. To top that off, the random speckles.
A relief. Ty
Edit: I'm just going to think he has an identity issue and likes to pretends to be a toadstool coral.
