Can a PAR38 grow a BTA? I have a little 5g desktop FOWLR with a clownfish and I’m contemplating adding a BTA.

To be honest I wouldn't. That wouldn't be enough PAR and the nem would eventually just bleach out and die...I would invest in a Kessil a160we or something similar in size if you want to do this. It's best to get the best lighting possible before investing in a nem...it'll save you a lot time, money, and stress in the end.

Okay. Thanks for the advice.
