Depending on your livestock situation. BK is pretty good at giving accurate ratings for their tanks, I would use their higher number for more lightly stocked tanks.

A Bubble King 160 is a perfect match for a 90 gallon tank, I am not sure how many gallons are in the DT for a 350 though.

I am running 160 in a Reefer 425XL. Great skimmer, you won't be sorry. Only area of concern is being able to adjust the height as the pump is not adjustable. Be ready to build a small stand for it.
yeah I'm not 100% sure on the water level in the 350. I'll have a look at water hight on the skimmer.

I have a 160 running on a Reefer 250 and it will be going to my new 350 soon. Works like a charm.

No you should not combine the sump and the DT, unless your sump is adding to your bio load. Your sump is diluting your bio load if you are doing the berlini system. Your tank is so small a BK is oversized for it anyway. The 160 is an excellent choice,

thank you for the reply so far, I ended up getting a really good deal on a reefer 250 tank has been cycling now for just over a week and it's all most finished the fishless cycle i do plan to wait another month before adding my pair of clown fish. Im a little stumped on where to go with a skimmer as I feel the bk 160mini will be over kill for this tank. I've looked at the 130 double cone which says it's good for 300 litres would this be a solid choice for a skimmer? not 100% sure it will fit yet in the v2 sumps

What did you end up choosing?
In the end, I went with a red sea skimmer best one I've had so far, the only complaint is red sea in the UK aftercare is bad so getting parts is a problem. still would have liked the bubble king and will not rule it out in the future.
