I'm bit new to this hobby. I bought a red sea reefer 250 v3 last week.
Selected bubble magnus curve 5 as my protein skimmer.

First time it overflowed. I switch it off for few minutes and start again.
Now its acting like as in the video. Motor is not starting unless I lift the skimmer.
Its stop after few minutes when I placed again in sump.
Is this normal or should I contact seller.

Help is much appreciated.
Sorry for bad English.

Clean the pump and see if there is anything inside it that could be blocking it. You may also want to contact Bubble Magnus.

Thanks for the reply. I tried clean the inside. but no luck

Ado mate, sorry if this comes across bad, i dont mean it to!
When i set my reefer 250 up i originally got a BM curve 5.... it was the worst decision in the whole build and give me nothing but set backs, for me.

I have a Curve 5 elite and have had no issues with it. I would contact the company and see if they will replace the pump for you.
