Bubble magus Curve help

I just setup a Curve 5 and have noise coming from the venturi outlet. Not terribly loud but if I put my finger over the silencer, its pretty much dead silent. Anyway to get rid of this noise? Thanks

Is there a red cap on top of the clear silencer chamber?

Same as this...again not very loud just not quiet.

there should be some more tubing put it on the red top and place the tubing away from the skimmer it may help a bit.

Is there water in the chamber? Mine is quiet but I read all it being louder when there was water in it.

You could also try a tiny bit of cotton into the hole on the cap

i run the curve 7 also check the wheel in the intake to make sure it is straight and noting in it making it be on the loud side

yea shouldn't be that loud idk maybe take out the shaft out and make sure it is not cracked

What's the depth of your skimmer? I think it's supposed to be around 9-10" Also, what's your setting for air mix?

Its about 9"...the air is not adjustable...I added a valve but it made no difference

Dis you figure this out. Just set mine up and no matter the height it overflows like the Niagara falls, setting is at Max not min and again block the air valve and dead silent and water drops, bit doesnt produce bubbles.. cant seem to get any setting.

Switched off skimmer will try later, head is hurting

Ya same issues but probably needs to break in...

What height did you set it at? Saw a thread that someone set it at around 4" of water. When i lift mine up where the pump inlet sits around 1inch under water level is dead silent

Also, you do have an o-ring on the clear diffuser chamber that the red cap is snapped onto?
