bubble magus qq3 skimmer

Hi guys hope someone can help.. i have a bubble magus qq3 and to be fair after some faffing around it works perfectly. however.. the noise from drawing air in to make said bubble is driving me up the wall its alot louder than my old tunzee dc 9004. if put an air tap on the baffle it goes alot quiter but then because i have reduced air flow it forces micro bubbles into the tank. its loud enough that when im in bed i can literally hear it roaring away downstairs. has anyone got any bright ideas. i might try and put filter wool in the baffle.

I don't have this item in particular but it looks like someone solved the microbubbles with some filter wool.... So that may be the direction to go.

Bubble Magus QQ3

Hey guys, I still get micro bubbles from QQ3. I already have it for almost 2 days also my foam doesn’t look right I think. Any help to remove the microbubbles and set the skimmer the right way up…? Thanks
