Bought a Bashsea 3015 sump and want to put a bubble magus filter roller in it. Having seen neither in person, was wondering / hoping someone would have an idea if the medium was too big for the sump's first chamber? Id like to avoid setting it in there diagonally or something crazy. The small supposedly works for what I need, but I think the medium would offer even more filtration.

Display tank will be a ~57 gallon 36x20x18.

Thanks! Any help will be appreciated.

Do you run filter socks? My LFS recommenced the Klir roller. 4" wide fits into most filter sock holder. This is what i will be going.

I've read a LOT of reviews on them poorly sealing. The Bashsea doesn't have drop in sock holders as I was intentionally avoiding them to get the filter roller. Wanted the real estate.

The Bashea looks like it has a filter sock bracket, but if I'm looking at it correctly, you can't place a Klir roller system into it. Part of the Klir system sits on top of the filter sock hole, so I think you're blocked out. Maybe you could plumb a fleece system, but I've never done anything like that.

I appreciate it. I don't think the CLIRs work with the smart, though I do know they have the stands thar support them, but I think I have enough room in the sump for the bubble magus.

I had the medium one I used for almost two years. It was a good product.

The dimensions of it with the motor and the inlet on the same side are approx 14" wide, 12" front to back (including the bracket hooks) and 14" tall

It arrived! And it's awesome! Kind of on the fence as to whether or not I should have ordered the small filter roller. The medium fits well, but I was hoping to contain the filter roller and the skimmer in the same section. We'll see how it goes though!

Quality wise I'm very impressed, I haven't gotten it wet yet so I'm not certain on performance.

What size tubing are you using to run from your inlet Bashsea bulkhead to the filter roller? I can’t seem to get the right size for mine
