Mine bubble when the flow is low
yes.. that helps.. i have a low flow low light aquarium that has a few and they are very stringy.. my high light aquarium is much more bubbly... that's why I am pointing to light over flow, but I think low flow is definitely a factor.

that said, if you gave me an anenome and asked me to bubble it up, it'd all be trial and error. :)

i guess the important part is that it's possible to get them to bubble up...a nem thats more stringy can be coerced through some form of sorcery to change it's tentacle shape
