My recently purchased bubble tip nem seems to be having some problems. Only 2 days old and looks to have shrunken/deformed spots??? Also stretches for light a lot? The light seems okay for everything else.

If you’ve only had it in your tank two days it would be adjusting. If it wanted more light it would detach and relocate itself (assuming you don’t have it banded to a rock or something) I had one that was unhappy for a while and it was closed closed so you’re is already better than that. I’d give it a week and just let it do its thing. If in a week or so it’s not opening up like it looked like in the store then maybe we can revisit and start looking at other issues

how long has your tank been running and what are your parameters
