I think i saw someone post something similar recently just not sure of the title....

recently i noticed my Bubble tip nems are very bulbed and looking great...
I tested water and found nitrates had risen and phosphates had also risen...

Do they prefer some nitrates and/or phosphates?

I changed my GFO and its lowering already, just am curious.

In my tank, I have found no reason for the anemone to bubble. I have 2 anemones that are subject to the same conditions and one will bubble while the other doesn't. I just do not get it.

Mine grow but never bubble.:squigglemouth:

I have found that not feeding my nems make them bubble, and they are having more beautiful color them when I bought them.. I do run my nitrates in the low count also.

i have been feeding mine about 1 time a week or a little longer.
the colors are brightening up, they are stretching nicely, bulbing up pretty nice as well.
I have lowered phosphates a bit already, and working on the nitrate but they still are puffed up nicely... not sure if it has to do with the nitrates and phosphates but they been acting nicely.
I did notice some of my LPS not puffing up as much which made me check the phosphates/nitrates

Seems like they just have a mind of there own. I also have 2 in the same tank and the 1 in the lower flow and light bubbles like crazy.
