The Trigger Triton ATO 5 gallon reservoir I purchased on BF arrived yesterday. As I was inspecting the seams to make sure everything shipped in one piece (had a tank delivered to me once with a microcrack in a corner), I noticed some bubbles along the seams. The silicon job isn't that clean but I guess that's expected? The bubbles though bother me a bit. Is this normal and are all of them like this or did I get a bad apple?

I believe those are bubbles in the silicon that is not actually holding the acrylic together. You could always email the company you bought it from though and ask them and they might send you a new one.

Looks like an acrylic tank glued with a single part solvent type cement, not silicone. The incursions aren't enough to weaken the joint IMO and likely not an issue long term. I guess if the ssytem was maintained for years some algae growing in the joint "might" be able to gradually widen them and "maybe" over time cause a failure but it strikes me as a highly unliklely scenario.
