I've contacted manufacturer but it's Sunday probably not going to get a response. I happen to have a group of guys coming over to move old tank out and would love to steal their labor while they are here.

In my opinion those little bubbles will not be an issue at all. They are deep in the silicon. You still have a water proof seal

Typical production quality seam....dollar a gallon sale? If you are bothered by the seams you could return for another tank. Make sure you inspect it before hauling it off.

With all the extra fillet silicone you should be fine. You could fill it up with tap water first to make sure you don't have a leaker. But those small bubbles are typical of a high production low cost tank.

Better to be happy now than regret the choice later.

Wish you well.

It's a brand new 215 from planet Aquariums so not dollar gallon cheap aquarium. Should have specified.

Sorry I mean no disrespect. It is difficult for someone to prevent some bubbles in the way this tank is fabricated. I don't think it will affect the use of the tank at all. Water test is still a good idea before hauling it into final placement. Make sure you place it on a foam base for the water test and final placement to prevent seam failure later.

No disrespect taken. Hard to convey tone in text lol. I heard glass tanks with rims you don't want to use foam only rimless glass and acrylic

I have seen a few tanks with rims split the main panels because of an uneven surface or stand. This is a problem in particular with MDF coated or painted stands! It is also possible to have a twist or rack in a metal/plywood/stud construction stand as well. And for a test fill outside you can use a foam base to prevent uneven pressure while making the test fill.

Just a thought not a necessity if you don't see it as a problem.

I had a tank from DSA that had bubbles in the seams, I called them and they told me sometimes it happens.. They recommened to go with black silicone and said you wouldnt see them that way.. So since then I have always went with black silicone.. The last few tanks I have had from Planet Aquariums have al been black silicone so never noticed bubbls in the seams.
