So here I am again. A year later, in a new tank that’s thriving, with some of the same pieces as the tank that had the neoplasia last year. It’s back on 10 pieces or so.
Last year the bubbling seemed to start with regular dosing of brightwell aminos and zeo food. I was also carbon dosing lightly.
This year I noticed that it began again when I started feeding the concoction regularly which im sure is rich in amino acids.
First I noticed the strange looking tulip polyps, then bulbous growth, and finally the warted up skin.
This potential has been in my tank since I had so many of these neoplasia looking corals in here that have recovered since last year. 2 common denominators are the amino feedings and carbon dosing. I stopped both last year and in 6 months everything fully recovered. Going to do the same. Running a large uv just to see if it helps
