Finally starting a basic build thread. I have a 40B that I've been running fro about 4-5 years. It has a sump I built out of a 29G Aqueon tank. Got both tanks at Petco during $1/G sales. Did a DIY light with mostly Cree led stars (except for some UV ones) using an arduino with a modified Typhon code to control Meanwell LDDs via PWM. Looking to build a Reef-PI as soon as I get my 3d printer working again to make a case. Also, after 5 years I just built a modest mixing station out of two 20G Brute trash cans, a Jebao DCT-6500, and a bunch of PVC plumbing. I even bought a piece of clear PVC tubing to make sight glasses to easily see the levels. Wish I built the mixing station in the beginning as it is so much easier filling up 1 to 5 gallon jugs or buckets with a spigot than it was filling them from a my RODI storage bin sitting on the basement floor. Going to be working on plumbing to feed either RODI or SW up from basement to 1st floor soon to eliminate carrying buckets up the stairs.

Filtration is pretty basic. A small Eshopps skimmer sitting in left side of the sump and refugium on right side of sump. The return pump is in the center section. I would love to get a Tunze 9410 DOC Skimmer to upgrade my filtration.

Latest water parameters
Salinity still 1.026 measured with basic refractometer. Stille haven't changed the water since last weeks measurement. Getting a new Waterbox 25 mini peninsula ready and plan to move everything over. Tried putting together a NSA style aquascape but thinking about adding one more branch from center to top left front area which seems a little bare.
