Been off for a week, staycation style. Did a little with the tank while off. Most notably. added a sump light.
$9 dollar light from HomeDepot (plug in)

Getting ready for my second Phyto harvest today

Waiting on some corals to get her, Top shelf Aquatics had a sale going on so I picked up a kenya tree and chalice coral frag.

Waiting on Top Shelf Aquatics order to get here today. First time ordering corals from them. getting set up to inspect and clean the coral frags if needed. Also its Phyto harvest day and also 4 gallon water change day. Things got stacked up on me today. Have had a Turbo snail with what looks like Coralline algae on its shell for quite a while now. Finally getting the coralline on my glass, letting it grow on my back glass. Have a purple and pinkish color growing. not a good pic, but will try to get a better one when I can.

Having Acan problems. The red acan from SBB is gone, dipped twice over 2 weeks (iodine) trying to save it. Nothing came off in the dip. Now my older acan is doing the same thing. I pulled the acan and did a peroxide dip and an iodine dip. Hope I can save my acan. what's happening is the flesh is disappearing leaving skeleton, starting from the edges. no spiders found, no parasites came off in the dips.

Going to take a good look at my acan today since I'm off work. Hopefully no more tissue loss. Its phyto harvest day today.

Plenty of healthy heads Jimmy, I think it’s going to be fine. I had my acan pushed to close to my Raja Rampage chalice and It’s sweepers wiped out all the heads except for one that was the farthest away. It did well.

My acan appears to be not decreasing in size at the moment, the dip may have helped. The rest of the tank is business as usual. The red chalice is growing Fast, already has covered up the crack from shipping and expanded on the frag plug.

Tried to get a shot of what looks like 2 or maybe 3 heads on the rescue duncan, hard to see in the picture.
tried to get the picture early when the light cam on before it fully opened.

Have an uninvited critter in my tank. Has been identified as limpet, trying to get better pics to make sure they are not keyhole limpets. If they are this may be what damaged my acan. Going to remove one to take a close look.

I hope it’s a good one but it’s smart to rule out keyhole limpet!
