It’s a custom rimless holds about 38 gallonslovely. what size is that tank?
Ya I used 1x4 and 1x6 on a doubled up frame. There are two frames, one inside the other then the are glued and screwed together.Looks nice. 1x4? And what did you use to trim? I'm planing a build soon myself
Nice work! I really like the look of having a lip around the tank. Gives you a place to set things down too.
What finish are you going to put on it?
So the doors are magneticly attached and trimmed out with a 1” x 1/8” pine trim molding to hide the small gap. I wanted to be able to easily remove the panels for maintenance and sump access. What did you use for the door trim? Looks good. I haven't been sure what to use
Ya that tool is one heck of a good investment.Nicely done. I love my pocket jig!
it will probably be white chalk paint and dark wax combo for an antique lookI am waiting for the wife to pick a color so I can put it in my dining room. So I’m not quite sure yet. The lip will be stained a dark walnut or espresso color. She’s looking at a farm house style antique style for the rest though.
