I have a 4 foot Metal Hallide / T5 System. I just replaced my MH bulbs with Hamilton 250W 14K metal hallides. I need to also replace my T5 4 bulbs. What do you recommend to make the tank pop with color?

Honestly I don't love the MH lights? My last bulbs had much more shimmer and things popped? Hmmm I want to see the colors of my coral and fish!!

Fish: yellow tank / blue hippo / chromis / flame angel
Coral: kenya tree / zenia pink / frogspawn green / cauliflower purple /

Why did you pick the Hamilton 14K? There are bulbs that make stuff look better. It is a nice bulb, but it needs some supplementing, IMO.

How many T5s to you have to work with?

If you want pop, then get True Actinics T4 bulbs.

Ya I don't my MH lights at all! Suggestions on an upgrade? and yes I have 4 T5 bulbs. I might try fixing with them but honestly I wonder how my coral will do?

There is no upgrade. MH performance cannot be beaten by anything, anywhere. I was saying that there are better bulbs than Hamilton 14K.

True Actinics will help out that 14K Hamilton... maybe 2 of those and 2 ATI blue plus bulbs.

He's talking about you changing the MH bulbs and/or the T5 bulbs for another spectrum combination.
Have you tried Radiums or Giesemann for halides? 20Ks...
As he suggested ATI Blue plus and/or true Actinic are good choices.
