I do not run a skimmer for my fish only skimmer as I want to have very very low maintence so I will be running a lot of gfo in it.

Where do you guys suggest buying GFO in bulk for cheap?

I wouldn't and don't buy it from any reef store. If you're good with Google you can find the manufactures of pharmaceutical grade carbon (the exact same stuff the aquarium stores sell), at a lot lower price.

Most manufactures/distributors have minimum orders so buying only 1-2 lbs won't be enough for a distributor to even consider selling to you. If you can find a group of people to all buy a decent amount, you would most likely be able to order and save a ton of money.
