Hey guys, setting up a small acrylic tank. When it comes to attaching the bulkhead for the drain, there is the “cardboard” like paper on the bottom pane. Does this need to be removed prior to installing the bulkhead or will it be fine since the gasket will be on the inside of the tank?

It will be fine. Seal is on the inside. However the paper may bind up when tightening the nut.
