Hello everyone.

@eatbreakfast suggested a Bullet Goby for my tank with hair algae.

The sea hares I tried were not a success. They (I tried 2) didn’t eat anything. Not even nori. They were at my LFS for a while with no algae, so it’s possible they were too malnourished by the time I bought them.

Anyway, Has anyone tried a bullet goby for hair algae? Eatbreakfast highly recommended it, and I generally trust him when it comes to fish behavior advice.

Could work. My favorite thing to do for longer hair algae though is to let it grow out a bit then use long angled tweezers to pull it out at the root. The tweezers really make it trivial and once you get the hang of it you can truly peel it at the root. Even if you get a good hair algae eater this is a good idea imo
