I was so sick tired of looking at my field of aptasia. It was like a breeding ground for them. In my tank probably had a 150 of the little brats. So today I had enough when I got home from work. I took out every rock and got my blow Torch. And burnt every one of the little b******* I could find.
I did miss A couple of small ones, but it was a great victory. I attached some pictures of my. Tank after the slaughter.

Interesting method.

As a precaution, this method could be very dangerous if you keep zoas or palys.

When the aiptasia inevitably comes back, I suggest buying peppermint shrimp from Reeftopia. They will eliminate all aiptasia within 1-2 weeks.

I have a fish only predator tank can't use peppermint shrimp. They will become dinner.

Nice. FOWLR makes this much easier!

Have you considered a raccoon butterfly or aiptasia filefish?

I bought three peppermint scrimps from ORA, but I think my resident eunice worms had them for dinner, as they disappeared one by one, and no other crustacean seems to have any problems.

They were pretty small, so I may try to get some bigger ones from my LFS if they get them in.
