Not saying like”don’t tell me” but I’m experienced in fish keeping, and I know many people who are experienced in fish keeping

thank you for your response but I know that butterfly fish can get tricky to get out of tanks, and I know what I am doing, I’m not new to this, I just made this account
if u expiereanced, then u would know that a tang or a butterflyfish is way too big

Then why post asking if you can or are you shopping for what you want to hear?

I responded the the guy who said that, so are you just teaming up against me or what? I’m just trying to double check. You shouldn’t be hostile on this, it’s not cool

Notice how u didn’t respond to the message that I said “I was just double checking”

I understand the frustration. However, don't read more into something that isn't there. You asked, several answered. One continued to push it is ok just rehome it which others advised against. You mentioned your experience but new account which I didn't check nor care if I am being honest.

Yes, I was blunt and will apologize if you took it as being chastised. We don't need that and life is too short. Having said that my reply is because we see these types of posts daily. Often times with the fish being purchased anyway. In fact there is one trending yesterday to this very fact.

Not to get biblical here but the road to hell is paved with good intentions. We are all guilty if we are being honest of buying something with intent to upgrade, rehome, or what have you. That includes me. Do not take a reply with bad bedside manors personal. We either have read too many or experienced it ourselves by adding something that caused trouble later when removing. Ultimately we are trying to prevent you from making the same mistake.

Hope your day is well.

Does the tang police operate with butterflies?

Now seriously, that's a bit tiny for one, but if you can get a small one and re-home just go for it.

Thank you for being nice, I agree that people give advice a lot, as much as they can then the person with improper care buys the fish and kills it, I don’t want to be confused with that person. I hope your day is well too
