No. It’s not a good deal. It is a pretty rare blue color though so that’s probably why they’re trying to kill people on the price. That’s how it is in this hobby. They are very greedy. Any thing a little different or unique and they charge a massive price for it.

Thank you, the seller claimed gold rings on a rare basis.

What about the scolymia value? Seller say two heads 300usd, 1000usd

in my own opinion, I would say that piece does not have enough coloration to be worth $1400 USD, which is approx $1800 Canadian dollars.. Your pic looks somewhat similar to the first pic below, which is $200 Canadian dollars. The second pic below is $2000 Canadian dollars, and look at the difference in coloration compared to the piece you are looking at. So based on the pic and coloration, my personal opinion is no its not worth $1400USD. However, I do not know the economics of where you live, I don't know how easy or difficult it is to get corals where you live, so this has to be considered as well.

Thank you for your answer. Obtaining coral is an import, but so far it is not difficult to get it because there are various vendors. I want to know the value of the coral below.

I agree not sure it’s with that much. But seems nowadays it’s worth what people will pay. I would expect more colors and variations for that price. For reference this is my Master croc Scoly. I took this crappy iPhone pic the day I got him in 2018. 3 years later it now has all these colors plus yellow rings and purple lines. To the naked eye there is 7 different colors on this guy. From 30ft away you look at my tank and this coral is the first thing your eyes focus on. If your paying $1400 for it should do that. I think the seller is a little greedy at the moment with these stupid, crazy prices happening today.

Hi there, sorry i not going to be much use to you as im a ( some call me tight but i prefer wise yorkshire man ha ha ) im really new to saltwater so i will not be spending multiple hundreds or thousands of pounds on any coral ,one reason im new and only own 5 corals so far so need to know i can look after more basic corals first.
And 2nd and most important reason for me ,i dont think its worth that much.
But 3rd,a price is whatever someone is willing to pay for item and if person can afford to lose that much money if it breaks or in this case dies so only you have that answer, go with your gut feeling as most time someones gut feeling is usually right,do you think its worth it ?

Yes, I think so, too. So far, there seems to be no reason to venture into coral, which has no particular value.
