I wish I did it sooner. I’ve tried adding lyretail anthias several times earlier this year. I tried all of the uronema protocols: metro, TTM, ruby reef, and even going as far as formalin baths outside with masks and gloves.

No matter what, the result was the same: uronema that killed the anthias. I actually lost a lot of $$ trying to get lyretails in my tank. It was a fail, and I couldn’t get a single one through QT despite my best efforts.

I pulled the trigger and purchased 14 from Dr. Reef. It’s been several months, and I haven’t lost a single one. I started ordering other fish through him too.

I would have saved so much if I just went with pre QT from the start. I’m still ich free. No parasites, which was a big concern of mine. I didn’t trust it at first, and that’s why I’ve held off for so long.

I spent my own money on the QT fish.

I should probably throw this out, but I’d have to wait for a town hazardous waste collection day.

Wow, my initial thought to come here to write negative reviews with quarantine fish sales. Because anywhere I looked vendors would charge 3 times the price for quarantine fish, (not much of cheat code in my opinion)
BUT! After viewing Dr reef website for this specific fish mentioned here, the price is only few dollar more compare to other vendors.
Very happy for you man, that all of them survived,

You might pay a little more to get QT'd fish but in the end it is worth it!

After QT 9 fish I bought from a shutdown, the copper, the prazi, the Hanna checker, I’d gladly pay 25% more for a QT fish lol.

I did buy an Achilles tang from him. Dream fish of mine. It was healthy and ate well, but it was a nervous fish. It was healthy, disease free, and eating perfectly the night prior.

It died a week later. Randomly. No explanation. Probably crashed into the rocks, as that’s where I found him the next morning.

He sent me a new one for free. I’ve never seen someone do this before, especially not with a fish that I’ve already had for a week.

I didn't know this was called a cheat code ( I'm learning new things everyday) but I'm pretty happy with Dr. Reef too.

I’ve had the new one for 2 weeks, and it’s extremely healthy. It’s like you can buy without gambling. Out of all the fish I got from him (I should make a list if anyone’s interested), only the Achilles died.

I got a juvenile. I’m so fortunate. I really thought I was out $600.
