Trying to figure out the best way to give co2 to multiple tanks

Can I get away with just using fans?

If I have relatively high c02 in the air how much is actually available under water?

Is there an advantage to using citric acid/baking soda or yeast/sugar or refilling a standard co2 canister at my local hydroponics store?

Freshwater planted tanks! I grow mangroves and macroalgae as well

I did it with a sugar yeast mixture, years ago. Fed it to an algae scrubber, through the feed pump. Almost doubled the mass, however produced a rediculous amount of algal exudates and got a carbon dosing slime everywhere downstream of the scrubber, even in the slot pipe as it semi recirculated. I didn’t do it for long, it was scary without proper control.

So this is for the freshwater tank, right, not the one with the macroalgae?

Adding CO2 to a marine system is often not useful because marine organisms have adapted to using bicarbonate as their CO2 source, not CO2 itself.

This is all correct. I didn’t know if macroalgae or submerged vascular marine/estuarine plants would benefit from co2 supplementation in addition to freshwater. I thought R2R might have people that would generally know about this type of stuff. Hydro/Aquaponics people here all use the large heavy co2 canisters
