I’m trying to decide if a coast to coast overflow would be worth considering on an 84”x18”x24” tank I’m working on (160 gallons), and was curious what opinions anyone has on the subject. From searching the forums, those who had them seemed to love them, but they also seem less popular. I also have a tendency to over engineer things from time to time, so just wanting to consult the experts here about if this is a good path to go down, or if I’d just be over complicating things for little actual benefit.

I had one on a 75g many many moons ago. I absolutely loved it! I kind of wish I had gone with it on my current tank.
