CA and Kalk reactor setup opposite time?

So I got my calcium reactor set up and running and I was reading an article about having a kalk reactor running opposite time of a ca reactor to deter pH swings. is that possible and how would you go about doing it cuz I have no idea.

At best, I would think you would run the CA full time and Kalk opposite.

Any ideas?

Run the calcium reactor 24/7 and the kalk reactor opposite of your DT lighting schedule as pH tends to drop when the lights go out.
