CAD Lights Artisan 165 Build

I finally get to submit a build thread. I ordered my CAD Lights Artisan II 165 gallon tank from Dreamfishtanks. Then I got very concerned about receiving the tank in a timely manner after reading a lot of negative reviews about their shipping and customer service. I emailed Dream Fish Tanks about my concerns and got an immediate response. They promised to stay on CAD Light to get it shipped on time. It only took a week to receive my order.

This tank came with the tank, stand, sump, plumbing, pump and skimmer. The quality of the tank and stand is top notch. The skimmer is huge, but unfortunately it was damaged when I opened the box. They promised to quickly send a replacement.

The stand took us about 4 hours to assemble. We had to purchase some nipples and hoses as the ones included were too small, but other than that, it all went pretty smoothly.

The tank about through the cycle. I am starting to see a diatom bloom. I cannot wait to move my corals over from my 65 gallon. I should get much better color from them with the Kessil lights.

I am having an issue with my Gyre moving the sand around too much in my tank. I have the Gyre set at 40% for now but will have to turn it up when I move more of my corals into the tank. I used a heavier weight sand to try to avoid this issue, but it still blows around. Is there any changes I can make with the Gyre to keep the sand in place? Currently it is as high as I can get it on one end of my tank and it is running on the default settings.
