Hi folks. My name is jason and I’m just entering the hobby. I went through an exhaustive search last year and landed on a Cade system for a number of reasons, the biggest being the craftsmanship and the stand. Loving the hobby, people are so helpful and friendly. Figured I’d share my gear below.

Ecotech XR15 Gen 5 pro light
Ecotech S2 return pump
AI Nero 5
Innovative Marine PCT 2x200 water heater
Dream Aquascape custom rock scape
Algaebarn starter items for cycling. They also included sand, rocks and cycling material.
LAX Aquarium clownfish and lawnmower blenny

@bugzy Any update on your system?
Hey thanks for asking. Yea, things seem to be going well. Did lose a few fish to a fish disease but managed to save 3. Crabs and snails all good, corals doing well. Changed my lighting profile so what @TopShelfAquatics uses but think I need some supplemental lights.

Nice! What is your favorite coral so far? Any plans to add back some fish?
That’s a great question and as basic as it sounds I think one of the pulsing Xenia’s I have might be. It came in as a twig but now it’s starting to brand nicely like a tree. I also love all of mushrooms, they are just so consistent.

I don’t know if I will add more fish in. The clown lost her mate but her and the lawnmower blenny seem to have a nice friendship and the fire fish just does his own thing. My water quality got better now with less fish. I’m adding a bit to my clean up crew, trying to diversify different crabs, added a serpent star and got some baby trochus snails.

think my next big thing will be some supplemental lights
