2 of my team out with covid, I'm working at least 6 days this week, I'm salary so I don't *really* get paid for it. Not to mention I don't think I've left on time a single day and I worked straight through my "breaks." Snowbirds are back, we're super busy, they're not bumping our labor to accommodate.
One of them is my ASL who got sick while she was on her 2 week vacation. In fact, she's well past the company policy for quarantine but she's refusing to come back because she's "afraid of regressing" like her BF did when he was up 32 hours straight without sleeping and spiked a new fever.
On Wednesday she claimed she'd be back tomorrow, if she isn't and I have to 9a-10p close my store that day to work my shift and cover hers as well I might finally snap on someone.
This week we had the neighboring store get robbed and the guy try to hide his loot in our building, then get followed in and tackled by cops in our building.
I've been threatened to be sued multiple times by the same woman who insists we hurt her dog - the vet even looked at the dog and said the only injuries on him are consistent with the prong collar she brought him in to the vet appt with. Nothing on him whatsoever looks like a grooming injury. I have another woman threatening to sue us because she doesn't have an Rx for her dogs food so we won't let her buy it.
I'm so ready to quit. I'm too tired for this ****.
