Blood draw this morning and they wrecked my arm :loudly-crying-face:
I'm sorry, but if the patient tells you "right arm, you'll probably need a butterfly, it's the cephalic that usually works" then stop stabbing everything else under the sun. Chances are, I know this because I've been through this a few times already.
Eventually she called the woman in who did it the last 2 times I was in (both last month, too) and the first thing she did was ask if she tried a butterfly or not (not, was the answer) because she recognized me and my stupid tiny veins.
Also, lady #1 lectured me about my tattoos, and how the test results won't be accurate because my arms are covered there and they have to draw through the tattoo. Which is absolute horse****. She also told me I should refrain from getting any more tattoos in those areas (my ditches are completely tattooed, left arm is a full sleeve, right is a 3/4 w/ a gap then bracelet).
