Guard goose made it out front.

Did tank stuff, ordered all new cartridges for the rodi unit, ordered other tank hardgoods supplies.

Every time I resign myself to believing the garden eels have died - one or both of them pop up again. Not complaining. I won't see them for a couple weeks then suddenly there they are again. Both showed up during feeding today.

So today is not a good day to drop by the store and return my items then....

Getting better, technically - based on mucus color. Feel significantly worse in random waves.

Have some tank things to set up today. Still waiting on the new insert for my plank so I can upgrade the pump and actually use it properly again.

But first - hot tea for the throat and breaking out the reserve bottle of prednisone for the sinus/nasal inflammation.

A second hen started laying. Not sure who. My zombie makes the most sense, but depending on her cross should be laying cream, white, or blue eggs. Next closest in maturity is the andulusian which should also be white. The cream egg is the ayam cemani's egg. I have an olive egger which can lay brown, but her comb and wattles aren't fully developed.

A mystery until I catch whomever it is in the nesting box. Funny it's bigger than the cemani's when that one's been laying over a month now.

Got the double filter roller thingy set up in the peninsula, got the plank fixed.

Oh and I cleaned the glass and Frank and I discovered UPS sucks more than anticipated.

I went to the dr and got meds for what turns out to be a nasty sinus infection. Since I'm on day 8, she decided antibiotics make sense.

Okay, now that I'm functional for today.

I set up a second klir roller in the peninsula, daisy chained them together... Did that yesterday evening. As of right now, they haven't rolled yet but they're looking close to that point - I guess I'll find out then if I did it correctly. There's very little information available to figure it out.

This morning the tank was cloudy, haven't figured out why yet, though I haven't truly investigated much.

I popped the old motor housing out of the plank tube and swapped it for the one that holds the sicce pump instead, set that up yesterday. Fingers crossed the weird clogging thing no longer happens. I firmly believe it was the old pump being mostly dead and weak.

I've decided that once the weather is reliable, I will be ordering more garden eels for the pony tank. I was up and down about it for awhile, but these guys are pretty voracious and they seem to have finally truly settled in. I'm enjoying the character they add.

On that note, I lost a pony - not sure what happened. I watch them each every day to ensure everyone is eating and I don't see any sketchy wounds.

OH! and I caught a glimpse of the timor this morning in my pre-medication haze. I think.

I was pretty sure the checkerboard killed him, but I am 95% sure that wasn't a hallucination.

Turned it off for now. Will figure that out later I guess. I'm too sick for this presently.
