Guess who slacked and didn't do more water adjustments day 2?

Later today we're doing an Oktoberfest event so I don't want to risk making a mess of the living room before people come over - my luck I'll drip saltwater everywhere.

There's a part of me that really wants that stupid Orca rotating powerhead thingy, but I refuse to spend the money on it. I did throw some tickets at it from the bday bash.

With the new lights I'm going to need to modify my lid, or potentially get a new one.

Alright...

Currently have a trap set up in the cube to catch the royal gramma, rhino blenny, and possum wrasse so they can get moved over to the peninsula.

Once they're out I'll start moving some of the corals (the ridiculously oversized ruby xenia and cabbage).

Lights are 3 boxes (I assume one for each light and one for the mounts). All presently scheduled for Tuesday via UPS.

I'm off Wednesday so that's good news - but I do have bloodwork, a dental cleaning, and a nail appt all that day

Okay, salinity fixed.

Big coral rocks moved into peninsula (that was a lot more time consuming and complex than I was expecting because of the way some of them spread onto multiple rocks).

Cloudy, just dosed a bunch of stuff...

Watched my Timor annihilate a serpent star that hitched over on a rock as well. Oops.

No lense filter, 5x zoom.... Cleared up though. Only moved coral that's still being moody is the cabbage.

This tank does not look like Windex to the naked eye btw....

2 of mine just stopped being broody and immediately started to molt... I feel your pain.

2 of mine just stopped being broody and immediately started to molt... I feel your pain.

She won't stop unless she spends 5 days in jail has to be 5 days. Then she spends about a month behaved and starts over again. I tried to ride it out once and at 2.5 months of being broody I said nope.

So she's getting 2 fertilized chicken eggs and 2 fertilized turkey eggs.

Homegirl decided her goal in life is to hatch eggs. So she's become a nesting box fixture hoarding eggs and screeching like a velociraptor.

Problem is, we have all hens - she can't hatch the eggs she's hoarding.

I was hesitant to give her babies or hatching eggs before because she's the meanest hen in there to others. Sweetest with me.

But she's actually the calmest with the new batch that got added in so I'm giving it a shot.
