Cade lower intake

Anybody know if the lower intake in the Cade aquariums is removable for cleaning or is it attached with silicon?

Well that is unfortunate lol. I let it go thinking it could be removed....now it is completely covered (inside and out) in coralline. I do see they sell covers so I might have to look into that. Just to make sure we are on the same page....I am talking about the lower weir on the overflow, not the overflow itself?
