Cadlight 4G mini

After a lot of researching I decided to get a cadlight 4 gallon. I always wanted a fire fish but never got one because the fish in my other tanks will bully it. Can a firefish live in one?

I have a spare biocube skimmer. Do you guys think it can fit in the tank?
