Calcium carbonate usage in reef tank regarding to algae fighting

Hello Folks
I need to start using the Calcium Carbonate in my 2 years reef tank for algae fighting (cyano, dino and hair algae)
Any recommendations for the dosage and haw can I start use it

Some colleagues in the hobby tried it and recommended it to me
Therefore, I preferred to ask the experts here before starting use it

Solid calcium carbonate particles will bind organic matter, like many mineral surfaces. That may impact cyano, but is unlikely to have any desirable effect on green algae and dinos. It is definitely not a cure all.
