What a deal! You can get twice as much for 11 times the price. :xd:

I can't see where you can go wrong with this kind of information.

Gary;

Please excuse Bob. He was shot in the head last week and his logic is still not quite up to par. He probably shouldn't even be out of the hospital yet.

Just got everything acclimated... but the list went something like this:

Appleberry Monti
Superman Monti
Green & Yellow Milli
Pink & Yellow Prostata
ORA Blue Cali Tort
ORA Rose Milli
ORA Red Planet
Blue Staghorn
Supernatural Cap
Purple and Green Polyp Acro
Hyacinth Birdsnest
Aquaman SPS
Purple Tip Acro

Hopefully I can get everything where I want it and we'll get a frag or two out of it in a year or three. :)

Bob, I'll hush now and I'll post pictures elsewhere if I can get some time.

Bob, you gave me some Calcium and Magnesium pellets some time ago, do you recall what form it was in (brand name or chemical specific)? I found a great online calculator so I thought I might try it out.

Like this one:

Reef Chemistry Calculator

The calcium chloride are various brand names with the main difference being anhydouse or di (i think) hydrate. That calculator specifies anhydrous or dihydrate. anhydrous is 94-97% my expample above with cal chlor from sherman but kent turbo cal is also anahydrous. the dow flake and other dihydrate forms as 78-81%.

I have given away both and should have told whoever which it was. I had both dow flake and tetra flake (or calcium chloride) brand names. the dow flake was in big clumps I had to break up.

The magnesium chloride is all hexahydrate. Of various brand names from the north american salt company. Comparable to mag flake.

I would do small adjustment just to make sure but they should work very well. And don't be to shocked at how much magnesium it can take after a few years of operation. My 55g took 3-4 pounds of epsom salts to raise the magnesium from 700-800 up to 1300.

Hopefully I didn't pull a H@rry on you. I gave him magnesium chloride instead of calcium chloride. woopsies
