3 days ago I accidentally added 120ML to my dosing schedule. Previously I was dosing 180 ML into a 130G system. I also do kalk at night, about 2 Gs. My rules in my apex kicked in and shut everything down but my reading is 600. However, some odd stuff at play. I have dosed anything in 36 hours (calcium related) as my kalk won’t dose over 440 also. But, I’m getting questionable readings from my trident. In the last 18 hours every 6 hours - 600/598/648. What is also odd is my mag has gone up about 40 points to 1520. That doser has been off since @Randy Holmes-Farley sold me on the RMM. I ran a Salifert test and it’s >500.

My Alk is 8.4 and my PH holds between 8.45 and 8.5 all day/night. I also use sodium hydroxide and a CO2 recirc to keep PH elevated. I go through about 200 mill a day of ALK (Hydroxide <8.47/bicarb>8.46). Can I just let this come down naturally or am I going to have to do a really big water change? Corals look great…

After a bunch of reading it looks like I’ll be doing about a 50% water change this evening when I get home.
