unfortunately this does not work so the 3 wires to the pump are 2 constant 24Vdc and a signal wire the yellow is signal it transmits a low amp 5v when the pump should be running, the brown and blue are the constant 24vdc.

my guess is there is a vow voltage relay in the pump so when the signal is on activates a relay in the pump and it turns on.

i tried a few relays but had no luck however i was able to use a Arduino 12v relay board which takes a signal wire to activate

i connected a DC to DC Step Down Voltage Converter Module to the 24vdc constant to reduce to 12vdc then connected the Arduino Compatible 5V Relay to a 24v power supply then connected the output to a SSR and then to a sicci pump and its working its full bogan / hillbilly and i dont condone doing this as im not a sparky but it works. my replacement should arrive tomorrow but at least i have a working cal x
lol, nice work!

Well that sucks, I didn't get any further than my initial testing from the other month, it's just been sitting in the corner of my shed.
Glad you got something to work for you in the meantime.

I received notice today that Deltec expects their shipment this week. They will have a combo replacement controller/feed pump for $500. They also will have a replacement feed pump that will work on previous model controllers for $100.
Was anyone else able to get one of these from deltec? My 1.2 just died.

Hi new poster but i came across this thread after in got the same issue with the feed pump and the impossibility to get one

As an apex user i thought there might be a way to get this working so i did the following.

1. Old 30w Jeabo controller for the recirc pump (running at 30% on the controller seems to be fine im guessing at that rate it will be within the pumps range seems good after a good few days
2. Using a PMUP (its about the same flow rate as the feed pump) put this on an OSC command where its on for 15 seconds every 5 mins (working on the length of time i need at the moment i think no more than 20 seconds is likely on my needs
3. Wired the float switch into a breakout box

Programmed as follows

Recirc pump on all then time, Solnoid on when float closed (with a delay of 5 seconds) feed pmup on as above

I also have made a virtual outlet for degas where the feed pump goes on for 30 seconds and flushes out the reactor the recurc pump and gas goes off in this time.

I figure its a way i can actually use the reactor as intended just bypassing the controller (might sell it!!)

Perfect. Then you just adjust the interval on the feed pump to maintain the desired alkalinity!

It’s quite unfortunate that the reactor’s price is so high, and Deltec chose to use a low-quality pump for it. It should be possible to use any pump that meets the same specifications.

Yeah I tweaked it a bit run the feed on a virtual outlet one for night at 5 secs every 5 mins one in day for 15 seems to keep my solid

How do you power and control the speed of the recirculating pump?

Just thought I’d post a bit of an update here as I’ve had the reactor up & running for the last couple of weeks.

Ended up using a Kamoer fx-stp2. I disconnected the original feed pump & flow meter from the Deltec controller.

Everything works as it should, no errors or alarms & it’s degassing as it normally would.

Well... after stocking up on legacy pumps my controller just died. Grrrrr. Getting by on just Kalk reactor for now.

Was a solution this ever figured out? My recirculating pump has died.

I bought pumps from deltec Germany. For 2 pumps it cost me $220 euros

Fish street has the DC650 for sale for 38.99
