Hello fellow reefers!

I have a 65g mixed reef tank that i just started to dose ESV two part.

I was considering buying a couple BRS dosing pumps and automating this process.

Now that i educated myself on calcium reactors, they don't seem so scary. :)

I don't have any room under my tank for a reactor (i dont think unless someone makes a small one?) so the nice part about dosing pumps is they could be hidden in my cabinet.

Which would you recommend for an intermediate reefer with an SPS / LPS dominant tank? Pros and cons of dosing vs a reactor?

Thanks!

Tim

Dosers are pretty easy to set up and run. Many come available second hand which are very affordable and great quality. Personally I use a four pump GHL 2.1 . The great thing about going with a three or four pump right off the bat is the ability to expand should you want/need in the future (magnesium, organic carbon, trace elements, etc). If you don't have room for a calcium reactor, the decision should be easy IMO.
