Calcium Reactor PH Elevated

I reached a point where I was putting maximum kalkwasser fully saturated in to replace evaporation. Needed to start supplementing because I was you're using two part to maintain for a couple of weeks, which I know will turn my sand into a brick eventually. I turned off the two part and turned up the affluent from the calc reactor to 20ml per min.

Alkalinity jumped from 8.4 to 8.9. Would you reduce the amount of affluent going in Or yeah, reduce co 2
It depends…

If your reactor’s pH is close to 6.5, I would just reduce CO2 since you don’t want to turn the media into mush. If it’s higher, then decrease flow.

If you’re using a Kamoer and prefer to change Alk remotely on your phone, then just decrease flow.

Whatever the method you choose — just change one at a time. I personally change CO2 since I no longer use a Kamoer. The reactor is fed from my return pump’s manifold.

Using kamoer. Dropped to 15ml per min. Ph controlled by apex. We'll check again in twenty four hours. Thank you.
