Hey all I recently hooked up a calcium reactor for the first time as I am new too all of it! I was wondering how do i get the pressure of out a calcium reactor? I need to get the ph probe out to recalibrate it every month as milwaukie instructs for the best accuracy but Idk how to open the reactor without releasing the pressure first. Thx!

Depending on how you are feeding it there shouldn't be much pressure within the reactor.

Are you using a feed pump? or just a dosing pump to pull (or push) water through the reactor?

Pulling with an ecotech versa
If your pulling water through it there should be a negative pressure inside the reactor. Pulling the probe should not release any water out of the port, assuming the co2 is off and the reactor is higher than your feed line as to not siphon water out of your sump.

Is the reactor intake feed line just open or "dangling" in the sump?

You should be good to just turn the Co2 off, let the versa run for a min or so and pull the probe. Make sure you use 4 and 7 calibration solution for the reactor probe not 7 and 10
